Analytical
NLI is an independent contract testing facility that has extensive knowledge related to the identification and characterization of lipids, lipid derivatives and liposomal systems. NLI offers a full range of analytical services (under cGMP or GLP regulations) to support drug development: analytical method development, method validation, raw material and drug product testing, and stability analysis. Full characterization of candidate liposome products during the early stage of development helps to identify lead prototypes that have pharmaceutically acceptable properties. Analytical assays are also in place to characterize the biophysical properties of liposome products as outlined in the FDA’s draft guidance on liposomal drug products.
