Liposome Manufacturing Scale-up
NLI has established expertise in bridging the gap from research prototypes to batches prepared for production under cGMP. Though we are open to using a variety of manufacturing processes, we rely heavily on our twenty-year experience preparing liposome formulations with the LIPEX™ Extruder. Extrusion is the leading commercial process for the manufacture of large-scale batches of homogeneous liposome formulations.
Today, we are happy to boast that more than 70% of the companies engaged in clinical studies of liposome products have used the LIPEX™ Extruder.
